Appointment/No-Show Policies

Appointment Confirmation Policy

To accommodate you better and ensure we are maximizing our team’s time to see more patients in need, we have implemented the following appointment confirmation policy.

Here’s how it will work:

  • 5 days prior to your appointment, you will receive an email and text message reminder to make sure the appointment still works with your schedule. If not, we encourage you to call us to reschedule.
  • 3 days prior to your appointment, you will receive an email and text message reminder with a request to confirm your appointment.
  • 2 days prior to your appointment, you will receive an email and text message reminder with a request to confirm your appointment.
  • 1 day prior to your appointment – If you have not yet confirmed your appointment, you will receive a text message from our practice, asking you to confirm your appointment by 4pm. Unconfirmed appointments will be released so that another pet can be scheduled.

The goal of this policy is to increase our availability to treat pets in need.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Due to increased demands for medical care and our desire to help as many pets as possible, we are implementing a No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy.

We understand that circumstances arise when appointments need to be rescheduled. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely veterinary care. If it is after hours, please leave amessage on the clinic’s voicemail.

Appointment Cancellation:

If the appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours, there will be a$25.00 non- refundable deposit required to reschedule. That deposit will be good for one year and credited towards the next appointment.

Anesthetic Procedure Late Cancellation: If an anesthetic procedure is not cancelled within 24 hours, there will be a $75 deposit required to reschedule and will be good for one year and credited towards the rescheduled procedure.

No-Shows

No-Show appointment is when you fail to show up for the scheduled appointment time.

Appointment No-Show: If you fail to show foryour appointment, therewill be $58.00 non-refundable deposit required to schedule your next appointment which will be credited towards that appointment. After the 2nd no-show, there will be a $58.00 non-refundable no-show fee in addition to a $58.00 deposit that will be credited toward the next appointment.

Surgery No-Shows: If you fail to show for a scheduled anesthetic procedure, there will be a $150.00 deposit required to reschedule and will be credited toward the rescheduled procedure. After the 2nd no-show, there will be a $150.00 no-show fee that will be charged to your account, and we will NOT be rescheduling that procedure.
